All you need to know about the Roblox Metaverse Champions Event

Metaverse Champions was a Roblox event that took place from April 15, 2021 to May 20, 2021. It was this year’s “Spring Hunt” and a rebrand of the annual egg hunt. The event was spread across four weeks, with up to 48 games per week and 10-12 games for each champion.

Players could win Rthro bundle items, along with mystery boxes and an egg. Mystery boxes opened into different items from May 17, 2021 onwards until the event concluded, along with a grand prize which was obtainable in the Hub, themed around the winning champion: Sparks Kilowatt. This was the very first “Spring Hunt” to feature only one egg, which was the Tiny Egg of Nonexistence.

The Metaverse Champions event was broken up into four weeks, and each week allowed the players to obtain a crate for a particular champion. The players needed to collect crates/chests/packages/cases 1, 2, 3, and 4 in order to obtain the final item.

The weekly schedule was as follows:

  • Week 1: April 15th – 22nd
  • Week 2: April 22nd – April 30th
  • Week 3: April 29th – May 7th
  • Week 4: May 6th – 14th

The players could get the crates for each of the champions if they wanted to. They did not have to stick to one particular champion and could get all of them if they had time! Here is the breakdown of the games for each of the four champions.

Originally, before the event began, people complained that it would replace the Egg Hunt 2021. This was later compensated with the arrival of the Tiny Egg of Nonexistence quest, giving the player an egg and paying a tribute to the Egg Hunts’ past, by showcasing every egg in the Hall of Eggs.
